Maybe a weekly or biweekly digest would work? I'm a recent subscriber but do enjoy these!

I've used AI to help me with the task, and probably due to volume (60-100 items a day), it takes effort to manage it and keep the workflow on tracks. I suspect if I do it weekly, a 600-item report would be pretty unwiedly to generate, as well as review and read.

One key note for myself: ChatGPT (Pro) is not intelligent enough to keep complex efforts straight. I started the project with the goal to generate a report by just typing (or saying) "Let's do a summary report for September 2" (for example). And it's been a nightmare to fight ChatGPT for hours each night. And I've been using ChatGPT o5-Thinking (fwiw).

I'll try again when there's a smarter version out, or when I have the stamina to test drive Claude or Gemini.

Thank you for the feedback!

Make it weekly or even bi-weekly dude. Daily I find it too much.

Also, adding every single news item might be only adding to the the volume of articles you have.

Better focus on analysis or opinion type of articles.

There should be more efficient and more traditional (i.e. non-AI) ways to track and compile publications of interest.

Thanks for the feedback. When I revisit the idea one day, I'll keep that in mind. I, too, thought, remove all the "person went here, shook this other person's hand" type of articles. I think it wouldn't be terribly hard to curate which items to include, and in fact would lower the volume enough to make it feasible "today". But we'll leave it for a... foreseeable future.
